Riftor v1 is a prototype. DMs use MLS end-to-end encryption; public
server channels are server-readable. Browser data contains your
device keys. Clearing it loses this device and its history. Keep a
long, unique password. A new browser needs approval from an existing
device; signing in does not recover old messages. This prototype has
no password-recovery flow.
Encryption cannot prevent screenshots, reports shared by a
recipient, a compromised device, or malicious code served by the
website. The service sees account and delivery metadata.
